We love celebrating our volunteers publicly. With your consent we'll feature you — with your name, photo and LinkedIn — on this year's volunteer page: expertslive.dk/volunteers-eldk27 (see last year's wall: volunteers-eldk26). This is optional.

What you get as an ELDK27 volunteer

  • Hotel — Depending on your assignment, Experts Live Denmark will cover your hotel stay. This is optional and typically one night; volunteers taking on more will be offered additional nights.
  • Appreciation Dinner — You’re invited to our volunteer dinner on the evening of 9 February 2027 — our way of saying thank you.
  • Credly badge — You’ll receive a Credly badge to proudly share on LinkedIn and other social media.
  • Web & social media recognition — We’ll feature volunteers through articles and shout-outs across our channels.
  • Coaching & guidance — We’re happy to support you with career, job, and personal development conversations.
  • Lunch — Lunch is on us on the days you’re helping.
  • Volunteer polo — You’ll get an exclusive ELDK27 volunteer T-shirt or jacket — practical for the day and a nice keepsake.
  • Gift — A thank-you gift for your help on the day.
  • Award — A nice little keepsake award you can showcase to show you helped make ELDK27 happen.
  • Sessions you care about — We do our best not to schedule you during the sessions or master classes you most want to attend, so let us know your top picks in advance.
  • Plenty of time to network — Volunteering puts you right in the middle of the action, with lots of time to connect with speakers, sponsors, and fellow attendees you’d otherwise only see on stage.
  • A reference when you need one — Need a LinkedIn recommendation or a personal reference for a job search? Just ask an organizer.
  • Travel contribution — A modest transport stipend is available for volunteers travelling from outside Copenhagen (DKK 500).
  • A manageable commitment — Most volunteers work a maximum of 50% of the event time. The main exceptions are family members helping out, who often stay for the full event.
  • Typical assignments fall into one of these:
    • a) Full event helper — Help with setup (Wednesday evening) and take-down after the event, and join the conference for both full days (pre-day and main day).
    • b) Main day, half-day — Help for half of the main day, and attend the conference for the other half.
    • c) Early mornings — Help during the mornings of both pre-day and main day.
    • d) Packing day (optional) — Lend a hand on pack-down day.

What we ask of you

  • Give us notice of changes — If something changes, please let us know at least one week before your first day of help, so we have time to re-allocate tasks.
  • Check your schedule carefully before committing — Please review your assigned tasks and times, and make sure they don’t clash with family obligations. We’ve had volunteers leave mid-assignment for family reasons despite committing well in advance — a little planning up front saves everyone stress.
  • Tell us if you can’t make it — If you’re prevented from attending, please contact Morten Leth Hedegaard (mlh@expertslive.dk) as soon as possible.
  • Stay reachable on the day — Keep your phone on and join the volunteer chat so we can coordinate quickly.
  • Be on time — Arrive 15 minutes before your shift for a quick handover.
  • Be a friendly face — Volunteers are often the first person an attendee talks to, so a warm, welcoming attitude matters as much as the task itself. Wearing your volunteer shirt helps attendees find you.
  • Handle information with care — Treat any attendee or sponsor information you come across with discretion.
